She first read Jane Austen when she received<em> Pride and Prejudice<\/em> as a school prize at the age of 14. Her favourite Jane Austen novel used to be <em>Mansfield Park<\/em>, but is now <em>Persuasion<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harriet<\/strong> works for an education publishing company. She read <em>Mansfield Park <\/em>at age 15, but didn&#8217;t enjoy it much. Several years later, she had <em>Pride and Prejudice <\/em>at school, and then proceeded to read all the other books (including re-reading <em>Mansfield Park<\/em>). In her undergraduate degree, her major Honours essay was on <em>Sense and Sensibility<\/em>, <em>Mansfield Park <\/em>and <em>Persuasion<\/em>.
